When it is time to write the very first real post to this blog, what will the topic be related to? Obviously Chamonix. Homeboy, the Old Fart, is so stuck on his Chamonix memories that he can’t even start with a different topic..
Anyhow, take a look at the Chamonix webcam right now. The webcam seems to be located at the top of Le Brevent, which is absolutely the perfect location for a webcam. Why has nobody set up a webcam in the backcountries in places like Glacier D’Argentiere or Helbronner? There is probably even electricity available at Helbronner due to the cable car there. May be we should take the first step..
Back to the topic. It looks good right now in Chamonix. Why am I sitting in this &*%$#@ office typing on my laptop instead of sipping beer in La Choucas and watching videos of Seth Morrinson skiing the big mountains?
By the way, Nomadic Ski seems to have a nice list of Chamonix bars. Check it out!
