Kalle Palander Preparing For The Upcoming World Cup

kalle.jpgKalle Palander (World Champion 1999) has been training for the upcoming season. Physical tests in Finland have shown that in some areas Palander’s condition is better than expected, but in some areas the expectations have been higher. Palander has been operated due to injury and that causes some headache, as well as his age. It is a fact that Palander’s age causes already some limitations.

Palander prepares for the World Cup opening in Sölden and he has already two camps behind. Palander has suffered from the lack of challengers but today Finnish alpine ski team is stronger and team mates can challenge old world champion, but occationally Palander is still fastest in traning. Tests continue until the beginning of World Cup and Palander’s team is looking for more speed from skis.
