Check this one out! Ski expert Jim Fowler discusses the highlights of the 2008 K2 ski line. It is a promotional video for K2 and SierraSnowboard.Com and it provides good information on the 2008 K2 skis.
See the new guns for ladies. Looking good! New K2 skis for your sweetheart to make smoooooth turns :). Probably good skis, but I am more into Coomba. Powder skiing weapon designed under the name of Doug Coombs, the deceased big mountain skiing star. According to K2, it has “balanced flex pattern and 102mm waist width offers excellent floatation and easy handling in tough conditions“.
Hold on! See the next ones, Hellbent. Those are the fattest twin tip skis from K2, with an impressive 150 mm. tip and 122 mm. underfoot. Wow! I wish I had those back in 1999 when we crawled the backcountries of Chamonix! Heh.. instead I had to survive with my damn old Atomic super-G skis which actually had ski touring bindings mounted..
It keeps on raining here in Finland. Although they go skiing backcountries in Europe and in Colorado already now, there is no hurry with skiing in Finland yet..

It was interesting and challenging and that is probably the reason we were so interested in it. One day it all stopped. Ok, not exactly on one day, but during one season it all just stopped. Ballet skiing dissappeared. Suddenly it was all gone by the wind. The good thing was that moguls skiing got more attention and it became very popular. Anyhow, ballet skiing was gone and will probably never come back. Or will it? Just think about it. All 80’s rock music is very popular nowadays. May be after 2010 ballet skiing will come back I just wonder how could we do ballet skiing with today’s skis. [...]

2[...] The first interesting exposure was K2 skis (see the picture on left side). Few days ago I posted a video of K2 skis and now I had a change to see them live. Those Hellbent skis are definately one of the best powder [...]
