Thanks Lance! I appreciate your feedback. You too have a good start with your ski blog. I wish you luck and patience, as building a ski blog really takes some time :)

Hi Marko,

Very interesting article and I like your recommendations, but your site is excellent.

My ski blog, http://banskoblog.com (Bansko, Bulgaria) will look better in about a week once its had a redesign, nice banner picture etc... but i like to think the site has grown simply down to the content. I try and make it personal and avoid BS.

My actual ski content will be improved with both mine other contributors focussing more on the sking as well as life (wine, fashion, language!) in Bulgaria.

cheers, Lance

http://www.Newschoolers.com is probably the biggest ski "blog" on the planet, with http://www.skipass.com/ either giving it a run for its money or maybe even beating it (but it's french). www.Biglines.com is definitely a strong contender. The Teton Gravity site is a very helpful site, particularly in the forums. In my opinion, http://www.Freeskier.com is leading the way for online ski magazine sites. They "get" the online publishing game.

From the looks of it, Powder_dan and Skipro8 might be spammers? They may be right in saying Fernie has some of the best powder in B.C. but c'mon people, the spam is pretty transparent. You've even attempted to use SEO to pump up the first one. Tsk tsk.

Dapkoner, sorry but we haven't tested those boots yet, but we write this to our "to-do" list. May be we'll get a chance to test them and give you our thoughts.

Have been checking Blogs about Skiing In Canada, Skiing in British Columbia and Skiing the Canadian Rockies and visited Powder Matt's Blog as Fernie Alpine Resort is in the Canadian Rockies just north of where I live in Montana. This Ski Blog has good information and great pictures and good stories about skiing in Canada. We are going to check out the resorts in this region of British Columbia this winter- a positive site for sure http://www.skircr.com/matts-blog
