[...] Monoskiing is also considered pretty weird and passé by many. My opinion is that on the right person’s feet, on a right day and in right terrain monoski can be just killing it! CommentsPowered by Facebook Comments [...]

Thanks pow101!

Very good info!

I love the "Pif" segments on TKB films. I guess the guy is better than many professional freeriders on two planks (IMHO).

Monoskis rule! :)

Yeah! Monoskiing rocks! I got my monoski couple of seasons ago, and have ridden it about 30 days. Even "sacrified" one 40cm powday for monoskiing :)

I have old pintail monoski, but I have tried modern monoskis with sidecut and going to buy one for next season. They're just so much better on hardsnow.

One thing about bindings, they're not supposed to release when skiing monoski. It will destroy your knee if another binding release and another stays on. Many people uses fixed binding for monoskiing for that reason. If you decide to use normal bindings, I would suggest to use some all metal racing bindings. Bindings will get much more stress and torque when comparing to normal skiing. And set DIN as high as you can to save your knees.
