HomeboySki.Com New Design - Taking A Step Towards Professional Service
You might have noticed that HomeboySki.Com looks different than a couple of days ago. We changed the Wordpress theme to a better functioning and scalable premium theme. Our new theme is provided by web design StudioJMC. With this new theme we are looking for higher usability because now we can organize the elements of the site in a much better way. We have now good places for important widgets, such as Recent Comments, Weekly Video, Banner Ads, RSS and Email Subscriptions, Recommended Sites and Blogroll. We also prefer providing full articles on front page which is not common in magazine type themes. That’s why HomeboySki.Com does not look like an online magazine, but a traditional blog.
We are very satisfied with the new design, but what do you think about it? Please leave a comment and say which one you prefer, the new design or the old one? Now that we have a new design, let us celebrate it a little. What would be a good way to celebrate a new theme? Well, I just made my first coffee today (it is 8 am here in Finland) and opened YouTube. My humble way to celebrate this humble blog is to drink coffee (I am addict), watch skiing videos in YouTube and listen to good music (right now it is Trivium). My good friend, a telemark skier and surfer, Teemu Hellman showed me a good movie clip yesterday. It looks so good that I need to purchase the DVD, watch it and write a review. Meanwhile, let’s watch the clip together. It is called Teddy Bear Crisis. Notice that there is a bad crash in the beginning of the clip. Tanner Hall gets badly injured, but survives. The rest of the video is really good new school skiing. Have a great day mate!

I like the new design, it’s much better. All you need is a logo or a rad skiing pic in the header

Thanks! Nice to hear you like it. As I said in the post above, this is a step forward, which means one day this blog will have a stunning unique theme
