Long, long time ago when new school skiing was just starting to emerge; one shiny boy from Sweden came with great talent. The boy was Jon Olsson, a young radical who was going to (get all the ladies and) become one of the best known freeskiers in the world. Nowadays Jon Olsson IS one of the bright stars in the freeskiing sky, and is very well known and respected in the freeskiing scene.

Jon Olsson was born in Sweden. He grew up and started skiing in Sweden, but now lives in Monaco. Jon Olsson has won ten Winter X-Games and now runs his own competition, Jon Olsson Invitational in Åre in Sweden. Jon Olsson has been victorious in other competitions as well, such as The US Freeskiing Open in Vail in US, The Red Bull Big Air in Åre in Sweden, Scandinavian Big Mountain Championships in Riksgränsen in Sweden and the World Superpipe Championships in Whistler BC. Jon Olsson is a very talented skier who is able to make very difficult tricks, such as D-spin into a flatspin (DJ Flip), a switch double rodeo (Hexo Flip), as well as a double flatspin 900 (kangaroo flip).

Now Jon Olsson is making a comeback. He aims in joining 2014 winter Olympics. Jon Olsson is sponsored by Head, Tyrolia, Cross, Oakley, Red Bull and Swix, and he has his on pro model ski made by Head.
