In February we asked simply “How Old Are Your Skis?“. According to the results, most of Homeboy readers have either brand new or 3-5 years old skis. Let’s look at the results a bit more deeper.

February’s question received 26 votes in total. According to the results, most readers are using either brand new or 3-5 years old skis. Personally I expected that most of the people have 3-5 years old skis, so I was a little bit surprised that so many people ski with brand new guns! In percentages this means that 26% of those who answered are skiing with brand new skis and 26% with 3-5 years old skis. So, we can say that 52% of those who answered have either brand new or 3-5 years old skis.

5 people answered that they have 1 year old skis. This means that 19% of those who answered are skiing with skis from last year. Because the results are so close, we could say that almost half people have either brand new skis or one year old skis. In addition to that we can say that every fourth skier has 3-5 year old skis.

According to the February’s question, only 12% of our readers have 2 years or 5-10 years old skis. Also 12% of those who answered seem to have skis older than their grandma. For me this looks like 12% of our readers are those who have either quit skiing or don’t go skiing often anymore. All in all, it looks like more than half of our readers have brand new or pretty new skis. For me this looks like most of our readers are active skiers who want to utilize the latest features and technologies of ski industry.

Thank You very much for your answers. Please give your answer to our March question as well: “Where Is The Best After-Ski?
