And The Winner of February 2008 Free Give-Away Contest is..

Winner!Wow man, it was difficult! I am not a tech guy. But wait, I’m a software developer. I should be familiar with this kind of things? Well, I’m not. It took me some time to figure out how to convert DVD to Mpeg and how to edit that damn video. Anyhow, it’s done now and time to publish it. In this video I draw the winner of February free give-away contest.

In February 2008 giveaway contest we give out two awesome ski DVD’s! The first one is Seven Sunny Days, which was reviewed by Janne last week. It is definitely a great ski DVD, one of the best ski DVD’s for sure! The other one is Believe from Tanner Hall, another awesome ski DVD. So two very good DVD’s. No, two ABSOLUTELY AWESOME SKI DVD’s!!

Ok, now everybody knows that HomeboySki.Com is giving out very good ski DVD’s. Good. It’s time to say who will receive those DVD’s. As you see in the video, I draw the winner from my son’s ski helmet. I simply wrote the names of all weekly newsletter subscriber’s who had subscribed by the end of February, put the papers into the helmet and just draw one of them. As said in the video, the winner is..

HELI HARRI from Finland!

Congratulations Heli. Please reply the email I send you. Just send me your mail address and we will ship the DVD’s soon.

It is interesting to notice that the winner is from Finland, because 65% of our readers are from United States and we have only few email subscribers from Finland. Well, this time the winner comes from Finland, next time probably from somewhere else in the world.

Now, the next contest will be held during April instead of March. We decided to skip March contest because there is only two weeks left in this month. The reason is that I have been sick for almost two weeks and I haven’t been able to set up a new contest and finish this one. I hope we can settle down, get well and learn to use video editing software in order to keep the pace in the future.

    Marko - you rock.

I laughed, and probably many of the readers laugh too…:)

However, the guy has guts. No wonder he skied the NW face of Les Courtes (which I didn’t as you might guess by now…)

[...] I cannot publish it. It’s way too embarrassing. Check out how I suck in the contest videos HomeboySki.Com and HomeboyAstronomy.Com. Oh yes, the video for this blog is even worse, so no videos in this [...]
