pipe

This feature was built in San Jose, California and sponsored/promoted by the energy-drink mega corporate Red Bull it self. It’s a half pipe made of dirt.

Freecaster has a really cool video shot on location in the dirt pipe. Damn that riding looks fun! I mean even as an aging geek moving into a more xc-riding lately, I can really appreciate this stuff. Loot at the front flip at around 1.00. That move still looks like it somehow against the physics althought they’ve been around for several years already.

Really< You bash that company and complement them at the same time? Dildo. Looks to me like they are contributing large to our sport and you are taking the piss for no reason. Maybe u cant ride? Cunt cant?

  2. No, maybe I was just too harsh. (English is not my mother language, so the subtle nuances/details can be left out at times…)

I have nothing against the company: I just don’t like the taste of the drink. Or energy drinks in general…I just don’t get the idea of the whole product. It is just a matter of taste. No offense to anyone who happen to dig their products though.

Thanks for you comment anyway. Good to hear someone actually reads these rants…:)

PS. Yes I can’t ride that kind of stuff much (anymore). I ride for fun after all, so actually I don’t care that much how I compare to others in the end. In my book the winner is the one who has the biggest smile/is the most stoked to ride. Peace

Hey, just thought you should know… The dirt-pipe pictured, it’s on my property – in Australia. If you look closely you’ll notice all those trees are gum trees. Also, I think you’ll find most energy drinks are aiming at functionality first and taste 2nd. I certainly don’t down an energy drink because I feel like a tasty soft drink, I drink it because I need energy. Does cough medicine taste good?

    cheers.

Yeah, I’m not sure where you got the idea that it was in California. Plus that doesn’t even look like the San Jose area. Did you look at the location on the Pinkbike photos?

Anyhow, this is prime. And yes, Redbull does taste okay. Not great, but good enough to drink.
