Skier Buried in Avalanche With Helmetcam Recording All

I found this quite impressive video from Lou’s blog. A skier charging Haines AK was buried in an avalanche, but was luckily found by his mates. The whole accident with rescuing was recorded by his helmetcam with sound.

Check the video below. Any comments? Please notice that the video includes some pretty heavy marketing of Avalung products. Although Avalung is a great help, they never say if the person in the video used Avalung in this accident. Anyhow, he was buried 5 minutes, so most probably he would have survived without Avalung.

    If you visit the website mentioned in the end of the video (2:37) you get to the interview of the rider. There he tells that he really used Avalung when buried.
