New Comfortable Ski Boot Design – Truly Ugly

The POC Tarsus ski boots are not very new but we’ve missed them so far and they look interesting. POC claims that they can provide the same comfort that snowboard boots offer to skiers, but will these boots stand up to a real test from an aggressive skier?

Ski boots might be comfort, but at least ugly

I am sure these boots provide comfort but I must say I find them damn ugly. They’d look better on some stormtroopers in a Star Wars movie than me. And somehow the design strangely reminds me of the rear-entry skiboots. Anyhow, the user can easily switch between skiing and walking modes by pulling the lever up or down. Naturally, easing pain in the feet helps many skiers by allowing them to spend more time in slopes, but will these boots really work? The final verdict is not out yet since there are no reliable test reports available.

No more painful buckles with these ski boots

What do you think? Would you use these ski boots?

That’s one funky boot, that’s for sure. Technology evolves though. Ski pants cover most of it anyway. :-)

This type of boot is already on the market and being sold in the United States.
