Ski movie Virne released – downloadable for free

The Finnish “Läskikymppi” freeride team along with vapaalasku.com have released their annual freeride movie. The Virne ski movie is a bit over 20 minutes long and is free to download. All the riders in Virne are Finnish and it’s weird how the small, flat Finland has created a bunch of enthusiastic freeskiers and snowboarders.

Virne is not a high budget movie and it does not feature any big Alaska mountain faces filmed from helicopters like some TGR’s movies and its not an in depth documentary like the “Steep”. Virne is rather an action packed flick filled with fun lines and no nonsense, just a bunch of guys skiing great snow and having fun doing it. An entertaining ski movie and you can’t go wrong with free. Just sit back and click “play” below to watch it. For another free ski movie check out the “TEN”.

This is hot stuff! I watched it couple of days ago and all I can say is WOW! Guys have done very good job. Absolutely good powder skiing, good music, good editing. It’s just all good. Strongly recommended!

To be exact, there are one swede, Wille Lindberg and one norveigean, Ane Enderud in this film. So 100% finnish it is not, but close.

Right. Thanks for correcting, Blumi!

That was pretty sweet. My favorite parts are always the deep powder shots…
