I can get out there pretty easy as I live close enough, but I was thinking of getting a ski package deal, like a ski in ski out type of resort for a weekend sometime in January. Can anyone comment on the EastWest Resort at Bachelor Gulch and if not try checking out the site or maybe seeing what others have thought of what this place has to offer. Any thoughts? Almost all ski movies have a formula--and it's one that works. As you said, it made you get your boards out of the closet. That's all most ski movies are meant to do, make you wanna ski. TGR does it the best. The most interesting documentary ski film I've seen recently is Swift.Silent.Deep. It's the story of the Jackson Hole Air Force, which is a crew a lot like the Z-Boys if you ever saw the "Dog Town and Z-Boys" movie. if I could post the trailer here I would, but go to www.swiftsilentdeep.com if you want to check out a ski movie that really goes beyond powder porn to tell a compelling story.
