How do many skiers and riders find their stoke during the summer? Crankworx Colorado made it’s return to Winter Park to the delight of mountain riders statewide. The action was packed in all weekend with slalom and downhill racing. Yet, the highlight of the event was showcased in the big air’s thrown down on the prefect gravity-fed Slopestyle Course. To the delight of hundreds basking in the mountainside sun, the riders delivered a clinic of clean style aireals that summoning thunderous roars from fans and leaving the podium guessing to the very last run of the day.

Skyin’
Cam McCaul stood in first place with a solid lead with a 93. Whipping out the tuck no hander front flip to the delight of the the fans and judges, His run was packed with big hits and clean landings–360 off the drop, tailwhip on – barspin off, barspin onto the box – no foot can off, tuck no handed front flip, tuck no hander, and a super flip. Translated from Bike jargon to layman term— F@#$&* SICK!!!

Cam Zink highlighted the crowd posting a flip table off the drop, a 1 footed 360 x-up, 360 off the box, a giant front flip and what look like a nac flip but wasn’t able to cleanly land, or it was sure to top finish.
Brandon Semenuk, stepped it up and threw down a solid run into a strong wind with a flip of the drop, one-footed 360 x-up, a monsterous double whip that seemed to float for days followed with a dirty, dirty, dirty no hand backflip to land 2nd, edging out a competitive veteran Pilgrim in the super finals. Both Semenuk and Pilgram gave McCaul a run for the money in a loudly applauded sun-baked, PBR drenched afternoon at Winter Park.
