The results and summary of the first day of the FWT in Sochi, Russia.

As the competition was not held today, last night there was some partying going on. Most everybody, including the riders and the crew, gathered to a restaurant called Trikoni in Krasnaya Poliana ski resort for a dinner and some drinks. Three new events have been certified as Freeride World Tour Qualifiers in Chamonix (FRA), Squaw Valley (USA) and Taos (USA). 23 Wild Cards have been given for first stage of the Freeride World Tour in Sochi, Russia.
